Cheap hair transplants
Don’t be like this guy, as reported by the Mirror newspaper, who went to Turkey for a cheap hair transplant and paid the price for it – he got what he paid for it.
It does make a serious point though, it’s unusual for most patients to be able to receive more than 3000 follicular unit grafts in one session hair transplant. It is easy to be misguided into thinking more is automatically better. But in terms of healing and regrowth, the effect on surrounding hair, the overall result, is better to be slightly cautious about graft numbers. Many factors are involved but it is all too easy for a sales person to try to “up sell” more grafts than needed or possible, just to get a higher commission.
